Corrosion resistance to water, several saline solutions and organic liquids is also lower than for unleaded alloys of the same zinc-content. Processing properties: warm forming: good cold forming: good machinability: very good hard soldering: moderately soft soldering: very good TIG-welding: unfavorable burnishing: very good Application: For wheels and circuit boards in watch industry, matrices for printing industry, clamps for electrical engineering, nipples, screws. |
