CC380H (DIN EN 1982 : 1998-12) CC380H DIN EN 1982 : 1998-12DIN EN 1982 : 1998-12 replaced by DIN EN 1982 : 2008-08ReplacedGermanyG-CuNi10CuNi10Fe1Mn1-CMaterial CuNi10Fe1Mn1-C, mat. No. CC380H (former G-CuNi10, mat. No. 2.0815 acc. to DIN 17658), shows high corrosion resistance to all types of water, such as drinking water, river water, brackwater, mine water, seawater, acids and ammoniacal condensates as well as to non-oxidizing diluted acids, bases and saline solutions, organic acids and to dry gases, such as oxygen, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen fluoride, sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide. The material does not show stress corrosion sensitivity and is resistant to erosion and cavitation. Corrosion resistance is slightly worse than for the higher nickelous cast material CuNi30Fe1Mn1NbSi-C (CC383H). Strength and high-temperature strength values are lower than for the above mentioned material of approx. 30%Ni. Processing properties: castability: good machinability: conditionally soft soldering: very good hard soldering: very good gas fusion welding: unfavorable metal-arc welding: very good gas-shielded welding: very good resistance welding: very good burnishing (mech.): good (material specification applies for G-CuNi10 acc. to DIN) Application: The material is used in shipbuilding, paper machine engineering, in food and beverage industry, in power plants and in chemical industry for fittings, instruments, pumps, measuring instruments, agitators, filling systems etc.
