1) Remark: The austenitic steel X6CrNiTi18-10 is the stabilized by Ti variant of the 1.4301. Thereby the steel is resistant to intrcrystalline corrosion after welding also for material thicknesses > 6 mm. Permitted for pressure vessel construction up to 300 °C, up to 550 °C subject to absence of intercrystalline attack causing media. Unsuited for mirror-polishing due to the Ti-addition. The material is approved in civil engineering for construction parts of carrying function. The sort is allowed to be used as heat-resistant steel acc. to DIN EN 10095. Application: in high amount for welded parts in chemical apparatus engineering, in foodstuff industry, fat and soap industry, in film and foto industry, in leather and sugar plants as well as for household objects
