1) Remark: Steel grade X6CrNiMoTi17-12-2 acc. to DIN EN 10272 : 2001-01is used for hot and cold formed rods for pressure vessels. the material is the stabilized by Ti option of 1.4401. The steel shows increased corrosion resistance to non-oxidizing acids and halogenated media due to the high Mo-content. It has increased resistance to intercrystaliine corrosion due to the Ti-content, also in sensitized condition. The material is unsuitable for mirror finishing.
