1) Remark: The martensitic steel grade X4CrNiMo16-5-1 acc. to DIN EN 10272 : 2001-01is used for hot and cold formed rods for pressure vessels. The material shows favorable corrosion resistance and low-temperature ductility to -200 °C. It also has high corrosion resistance particularly to water, weak acids and bases. oxidizing acids (nitrous acid) and low chloride containing media.
