1) Remark: Trademark X3CrNiMo17-13-3 is comparable to X 5 CrNiMo 17 13 3 acc. to DIN 17440-85. The corrosion behavior of the steel is similar to 1.4401. It shows slightly improved resistance to selective attack owing to the higher Mo-content. This material is in delivery condition resistant to intercrystalline corrosion. Application for acid resistant apparatuses in chemical and pharmaceutical industry, cellulose, color, fatty acid, textile and viscose industry, in petrochemistry.
