1) Remark: The steel X2CrNiMoN17-13-3 is a fully austenitic mirror-polishable steel showing higher strength by N-alloying and higher corrosion resistance especially to unoxidizing and halogenated media than 1.4406 by higher Mo-addition. Higher resistance to selective attack than 1.4435, excellent fatigue strength behavior even under chemical load. Favorable cryogenic ductility, therefore usable up to -270 °C in refrigeration, approved for pressure vessel construction.
