1) Remark: The austenitic steel X1NiCrMoCu25-20-5 has a high resistance to highly aggressive organic and inorganic acids, high pitting corrosion and largely stress corrosion resistance. Its pitting index is with 39 the second best. The material is resistant to intercrystalline corrosion. Application: for temperatures between -60 and 400 °C in chemical and petrochemical industry, for flue gas desulfurizing plants, in cellulose and paper industry, for smokestack lining.
