1) Remark: The austenitic steel X1NiCrMoCu25-20-5, material number 1.4539, is a material of high resistance to highly attacking organic and inorganic acids, high pitting corrosion and wide stress corrosion resistance. With 39 it has after 1.4529 the second best pitting index of all steels. This material is resistant to intercrystalline corrosion also in welded condition. Application of the comparable DIN-material X 1 NiCrMoCuN 25 20 5 (SEW 400) at a temperature range from -60 and 400 °C. in chemical and petrochemical industry, for flue gas desulfurization plants, in cellulose and paper industry as well as for smokestack linings.
