1) Remark: Valid for shape steel, steel bar, forging corrosion resistant martensitic rolled and forged steel X 5 CrNi 13 4 (now: X3CrNi13-4) mat. number 1.4313 weldable Application: in range of -60°C to 350°C - for pressure vessel as per TRB 100 and AD-data sheets (Merkblätter) W 13 and W 10 - for steam boiler acc. to TRD 107 - in nuclear power engineering as far as nuclear rules resp. object-related specifications permit application smelting: - electric arc process - VOD-process state of removing oxygen: especially becalmed To the material DIN EN 10088-1 : 1985-08 applies: - X3CrNiMo13-4 is comparable to X 4 CrNi 13 4 acc. to SEW 400: 1991-02 - shows at a temperature range from -60 to 300 °C good toughness properties and sufficient corrosion resistance - owing to its Ni-content follows better corrosion properties than the comparable 13 per cent Cr-steels - application in tempered condition for turbine wheels, pumps, compressors, components of power station and reactor engineering, shipbuiding
