1) Remark: As alpha-titanium alloy, TiAl5Sn2.5 with the material number 3.7115 (see also TiAl5Sn2.5, material number 3.7114 according to the Werkstoff-Leistungsblatt der Deutschen Luftfahrt WL 3.7114) shows relatively high high-temperature tensile strength at temperatures of up to about 500 °C. The material is weldable, quenchhardenable and well forgeable. The cold-formability of this alloy is less good than that of unalloyed titanium or of titanium alloys with beta-phase content.
