1) Remark: The hot-dip galvanized construction steel is produced as S220GD+Z (plating Zn) and S220GD+ZF (plating Zn-Fe-alloy). The zinc coating (double-sided) amounts to: 100, 140, 200, 225, 275, 350, (450), (600) g/m² (parenthesis values by arrangement). The material has a min. yield point of 220 N/mm² and is used for construction parts with high strength and high corrosion resistance. The bending mandrel diameter amounts for S220GD+Z up to the Zn-plating 450 g/m² 1a (a=product thickness). It has to be considered that possibly occurs a reformability reduction at all hot-dip galvanized products. Application: household appliances industry, construction trade, office furniture industry, electrical industry, car manufacturing. The material acts as substrate for organicanically coated strips and sheets.
