1) Remark: The heat-resistant nickel alloy NiCr22Mo9Nb is resistant to the effects of hot gases and products of combustion at temperatures above 550 °C. It is applicable up to 1000 °C in air. It is resistant to pitting, crevice, erosion and intercrystalline corrosion. Insensitivity to chloride induced stress corrosion. Favorable resistance to mineral acids, such as nitrous, phosphoric, sulphuric and muriatic acid as well as to alkaline substances and organic acids. Applicable up to 1000 °C (highest application temperature in air). Due to the excellent high-temperature strength and abrasion properties and favorable resistance to oxidation and carburization. The delivery condition solution annealed should be chosen for application temperatures above 600°C. The material shows an embrittlement tendency in a temperature range of 600 to 800 °C. Use for offshore facilities, production lines for sulphuric, phosphoric, nitrous, hydrofluoric and muriatic acid and for organic acids and alkaline substances as well as for flue gas cleaning systems, for petroleum and natural gas converting plants. Laser printed (PBF-LB/M) components shows also excellent corrosion resistance with outstanding mechanical properties for the manufacture of highly stressed components.
