1) Remark: The material NiCr20TiAl with the material number 2.4952 is applied in the form of strips, sheets, tubes, bars, wires and forgings for construction components that are stressed in terms of creep strength depending on time. It is contained as aviation material with the material number 2.4631 in the Werkstoff-Leistungsblatt der Deutschen Luftfahrt editions WL 2.4631-1 : 1993-8, WL 2.4631-2 : 1993-08 as well as WL 2.4631-100 : 1993-08. NiCr20TiAl possesses high creep stength depending on time up to 850 °C and very good scale-resistance. Owing to aluminium and titanium additives, the nickel-chromium alloy is hardenable. The corrosion-resistance is similar to NiCr20Ti. Application for extremely stressed construction components, such as e.g. gas turbine blades, discs, shafts, pre-combustion chambers in diesel engines, valves, tools for hot working, forging hammers, forging saddles, pressing tools, shear blades, screws and nuts. Processing properties: Formability: good (annealed) Weldability: possible, but not common
