1) Remark: The cold-rolled dualphase steel HCT450X has a minimum tensile strength of 450 N/mm². It will be delivered as continuously hot-dip coated (+Z, +ZF or +ZA) strip and sheet in thicknesses from 0.35 mm to 3.0 mm. The dual-phase steel has a ferritic base structure with a secondary martensitic phase (possibly bainitic secondary phase). It offers special advantages regarding weight saving production of cold formed and corrosion resistant components in the automotive engineering like wheels, chassis parts, body reinforcements, bumper, profiles etc. because of the good dynamic behaviour the steel is applicated for dynamic loaded parts. The high hardening ability leads to a strong increase of the component yield strength.
