1) Remark: According to DIN EN 10295 : 2003-01, the highest application temperature in air is 1050 °C for the material GX40CrNiSi25-12, material number 1.4837 (the former G-X 40 CrNiSi 25 12). The following is valid for the comparable DIN-material: The austenitic material is especially suitable for parts that are subjected to high mechanical stress, such as chain links and vibrating feeder chutes. Durability: - with an oxidizing combustion atmosphere: 1100 °C, - with a reducing combustion atmosphere: 1040 °C, - with oxidizing gases containing sulphur: 1080 °C, - with reducing gases containing sulphur: 1000 °C.
