1) Remark: G-CuSn12Pb has improved sliding qualities by the lead additive as the material G-CuSn12 (2.1052). It possesses good dry-running operation properties and wear resistance and is corrosion and sea water-steadily. Manufacturing properties: - cutting property: very well - soft soldering: well - braze welding: caused - gas fusion welding: badly - gas-schielded arc welding: caused - polishing bar (mechanical.): well - galvanizing bar: well - suitability for dipping tinning: well Application: The cast pieces manufactured in the sand casting procedure find use for sliding bearings with high load peaks (shock loadings to 6,000 N/mm²), highly stressed crossheaded guides and borders. Centrifuge and/or continuous casting parts is used for sliding bearings with high load peaks for p to 12,000 N/cm², e.g. cranking and elbow lever camp, gudgeon pin sockets, sockets for crane impellers, under load with high speed moved link bodies as well as for very highly loaded slide strips.
