1) Remark: EN-GJSA-XNi35 shows the lowest thermal expansion of all cast iron grades and it is thermal shock resistant. The material (international trading name: Ni-Resist D-5) is comparable to UNS F 43006. Application: for dimensionally stable components for machine tools, scientific instruments and glass forms. I can be used for pressure equipment, e.g. compressor housings. The appropriate materials for pressure applications and the conditions of use are specified in special product standards or application standards. For the structuring of pressure equipment special construction guidelines applies.
