1) Remark: Material EN AW-EAl 99,5(A) is produced in a limited amount for sheet, strips and plates. It is food-safe. To the comparable mark E-Al, mat. No. 3.0257, acc. DIN 1712-3 : 1976-12 (invalid) applies: Declarated by the German Electical Engineering Commission (Deutsche Elektrotechnische Kommission) as alloy for electrical engineering with a warranted electrical conductivity acc. to DIN 40 501 part 1 to part 4. This material shows a favorable electrical and thermal conductivity but only low mechanical strength. Reformability and chemical as well as weathering resistance are very good. Application: roll bond, Z-Bond, cable straps of particularly high requirements.
