1) Remark: The soft unalloyed steel DX55D for cold forming (special deep drawing grade) is produced as: - DX55D+AS (plating aluminium-silicon). The aluminium-silicon coating (double-sided) amounts to 60, 80, 100, 120, 150 g/m². Heat resistance of the AlSi-coating is warranted up to 800°C. Coat thickness has to be considered for weldability and reformability demands. The material is suitable for the pruduction of complex profile forms and deformations by drawing, bending or shaping. Mechanical properties and freedom from stretcher strains are warranted for a period of 6 months after provision of the products. The steel of the above mentioned surface types is suitable for application of organic coatings. Application: household appliances industry, construction trade, electrical industry, car industry.
