1) Remark: The soft unalloyed steel DCO4ED, mat. No. 1.0394, is a cold formable steel and suitable for direct enameling as well as for special conventional applications of two-coat enameling, especially if there is a need for preferably non deforming enameling. In this case are necessary special measures in order to improve enamel`s adhesion. Mechanical specific values and freedom of stretcher strains are warranted for 6 months. Application: construction components of increased deformation requirements pots, pans, covering caps for gas kitchen stoves, baking sheets, simple shower bases etc. Welding: DC04ED is weldable acc. to the fusion welding methods: MAG (metal active gas/plasma welding arc hand welding laser welding gas welding resistance welding (spot, roll seam, buckle welding)
