1) Remark: CuZn5 is a non-hardenable wrought alloy. Only a cold forming leads to high hardness and strength values. Strength values between F22 and F33. CuZn5 has a good conductivity, is good resistant to atmospheric corrosion and special suited for enamelling. Processing properties: Hot forming: medium Cold forming: good Machinability: poorly Brazing/soldering: very well TIG-welding: good Polishability: good Application: electrical engineering, damper rods, hardware, clock and watch and jewelry industry
