1) Remark: CuZn38 (former designation: CuZn39Sn) is a non-hardenable Cu-alloy. High hardness and strength values can only be reached by cold forming. The max. strength in the area of F35. Sn raise the resistance to corrosion and improve the sliding behaviour. CuZn38Sn1 bzw. CuZn39Sn is resistant to river and industrial water. Processing properties: Hot forming: good Cold forming: medium Machinability: medium Brazing: good Soldering: medium TIG-welding: good Polishability: very well Application: tube bottoms for condensators and heat exchanger, boat propeller shafts, boat fittings
