1) Remark: CuZn35Mn2Al1Fe1-C, mat. No. CC765S (former G-CuZn35Al1, mat. No. 2.0592 acc. to DIN 1709) is a ductile-hard special brass-alloy characterized by favorable strength and high expansion. It shows high resistance to seawater but no resistance to ammoniac. High-temperature strength values hardly decrease up to 200°C, low-temperature values only slightly increase up to -60°C. Sufficient bearing properties at moderate loading and lubrication. The material shows favorable casting qualities. It is suitable for high loaded parts. Processing properties: castability: good machinability: conditionally soft soldering: unfavorable hard soldering: unfavorable gas fusion welding: conditionally arc welding: unfavorable TIG-welding: conditionally MIG-weding: conditionally resistance welding: conditionally burnishing (mech.): very good galvanizing: conditionally suitability for dip tinning: unfavorable (material specification applies for G-CuZn35Al1 acc. to DIN)
