Material description

Reference Name (new) Reference Name (old) DIN Materials Nummer Material description Material application
CuSn11Pb2-C G-CuSn12Pb, G-CuSn12Pb, G-CuSn12Pb CC482K / 2.1061.01, 2.1061.03, 2.1061.04 Copper-tin casting alloy, ingot metal, for pressed and drawn products, cast tin bronze; bearing material which, with high hardness, has good emergency running properties and good wear resistance; good corrosion resistance, especially to seawater and salt water; insensitive to impact and machinable; CuSn11Pb2-C exhibits more uniform strengths and higher hardnesses in centrifugal and continuous casting than in sand casting and is therefore used for highly stressed components, this alloy is not suitable for die casting processes, the casting temperatures vary depending on the casting method. CuSn11Pb2-C exhibits more uniform and higher strengths and hardnesses in centrifugal or continuous casting than in sand casting and is therefore used for highly stressed components; this alloy is not suitable for die casting processes; the casting temperatures are between 1050 C and 1100 C, depending on the casting process. High peak load sliding bearing, very high load sliding bearing strip, grinding machine spindle bearing, main spindle bearing for superfinishing machine, flywheel bearing for press, high load toggle lever bearing for forging machine, high load toggle lever bearing for eccentric press, heavy duty connecting rod bearing for forging machine, heavy duty crank bearing for eccentric press, spindle nut moving at high speed under load, tightening nut, worm wheel, sliding plate, sliding rail, piston pin bushing, bushing for crane impeller, ship propeller shaft bushing.
