1) Remark: CuSn11Pb2-C, mat. No. CC482K (former G-CuSn12Pb, mat. No. 2.1061acc. to DIN 1705), has due to the Pb-addition improved sliding properties compared to CuSn12-C (CC483K). It shows favorable emergency running properties and wear resistance and is corrosion and seawater resistant. Cast parts produced according to the sand casting method are applicated for friction bearings with high peak demands (shock loading up to 6000 N/mm²), high-stressed sliding plates and strips. Centrifugal and continuous parts are used for friction bearings with high peak demands for p up to 12000 N/cm², e.g. crank and toggle bearings, piston pin bushings, bushings for crane blade wheels, under load and at high speed moved spindle nuts as well as for very high loaded sliding strips. Processing properties: machinability: very good soft soldering: good hard soldering: conditionally gas fusion welding: unfavorable gas shielded welding: conditionally burnishing (mech.): good galvanizing: good suitability for dip tinning: good (material specification applies for G-CuSn12Pb acc. to DIN)
