1) Remark: 60WCrV8 is an oil-hardening tool steel. It achieves at least 58 HRC in hardened condition. The steel is particularly ductile and wear resistant and suitable for very high loadings and shows favorable dimensional and cutting stability. Application: punching dies, highly loaded shear cutter and massive coin dies, paper and wood chopping cutter, cutting and punching tools for sheet thicknesses of approx. 5-10 mm, cold hole punching tools, deburring cuttings as well as for ejectors.
