1) Remark: 55NiCrMoV7 is an alloyed hot worked tool steel. In the hardened and tempered condition, it reaches a minimum of 42 HRC. Use: preferred for forging dies and snap dies of all sizes and grooves for the processing of hard steels, also jaws for in forging machines, hammer and press saddles, extrusion and tube extrusion punches for light and heavy metal processing, pressure plates, etc.
