1) Remark: Steel 51CrV4 is suitable for high loaded components in aircraft and vehicle construction, engine and machine engineering which to meet demands on increased tempering resistance at best core properties and on high wear resistance (e.g. transmission and joint parts, axles). Further application as spring and tool steel. As a bright steel product it is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in different conditions (see DIN EN 10277).
