1) Remark: 32CrMoV12-28 is an alloyed hot worked tool steel. In the hardened and tempered condition, it reaches a minimum of 46 HRC. Use: especially well suited for thermically stressed tools for the processing of heavy and light metal through extrusion. Also for tools in the steel industry, such as dies and mandrels for the manufacture of screws, nuts, bolts and rivets, drawing rings and drawing mandrels for the manufacture of hollows according to the Ehrhardt method, etc. The steel can be counterbored cold, is not sensitive to temperature change and can be cooled with water.
