1) Remark: The steel 25CrMoS4 is suitable for parts of high strength and toughness requirements in the automobile, engine and machine construction with mean and larger quenched and tempered cross sections and better machinability (e.g. crankshafts, steering swivels, pinions). Lowest application temperature -40 deg. As bright finished steel product, the steel is used in the shape of bars, bright, straight and in varying conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
