1) Remark: Steel 16MnCrB5 is suitable for parts in vehicle manufacturing and machine engineering, that are predominantly wear loaded and that should have a very favorable ductility behaviour in case-hardened condition (e.g. piston pins, camshafts). The steel as a bright steel product is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in various conditions (see DIN EN 10277 : 1999-10).
