WIAM® METALLINFO
WIAM® METALLINFO provides databases for use for e.g. construction, material selection, standardization, calculation, simulation and in general product design. The database offers reliable material data for material selection, component & product development, construction, simulation as well as for purchasing and sales. Normalized characteristic values, flow curves, fatigue strength and time-temperature conversion diagrams make the database a valuable source for engineers.
It covers sub modules: FLIESS (Flowcurves), ZYK (Cyclic test data), ZTU (TTT diagrams), ENGINEERING DATA (Material Models for Simulation) -
WIAM® PLASTICS
WIAM® Plastics provides databases for plastics for use, e.g. design, material selection, calculation and simulation. Data is currently used based on the openly accessible supplier data sheets. The characteristic values are given as value ranges or as mean values for individual types of plastic (e.g. PA12, PA66+30GF), which are determined from different products from the manufacturers. The database offers material data for material selection, component and product development, design, simulation and purchasing. -
WIAM® MLINE
Through the initiative of the Bavarian Research Association for Material Sciences together with the University of Bayreuth, the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and BMW AG, more than 6000 materials from metals (especially steels), ceramics, composites, plastics and natural materials have flowed together in the former M-Line 2 database since 2007. WIAM has set out to continuously enrich the materials database with further materials. The materials database supports companies and engineers in their daily work with materials. Find characteristic values and data on the materials used and support us in continuing to offer them free of charge.
Configure Compliance
This column is sorted by ROHS (compliant to non-compliant) and REACH (compliant to non-compliant).
- compliant, no regulated substances
- compliant with regulated substance lead using exemption 6a - lead as an alloying element in steel for machining purposes and in galvanized steel with a mass content not exceeding 0.35% lead
- compliant with regulated substance lead using exemption 6b - lead as an alloying element in aluminum with a mass content not exceeding 0.4%
- compliant with regulated substance lead using exception 6c - copper alloy with a mass content of up to 4% lead
- not compliant
- compliant with regulated substance cadmium or lead using an exemption from exemption catalog IV
- compliant, no regulated substances
- compliant with regulated substance lead (O5A)
