1) Remark: G-CuZn38Al (earlier designation: To G-Ms60, see also G-CuZn37Pb) is a well castable, cold-tough construction material with good corrosion resistance to the atmosphere, steadily against stress corrosion, not steady against ammonia. The heat resistance is good up to 250 °C, the cold strength is given to approx. -60 °C. The bearing characteristics are sufficient during lubrication and moderate load. As ingot cast it possesses a very high dimensional accuracy and contour true one are attainable with this alloy. Operational areas are predominantly electro-technology and mechanical engineering. The gold-similar appearance of the material and the good coloring bar let the cast material use in the building fitting industry and in the ornamentation technology find.
