Applus+ Laboratories receives Israel’s approval to issue test reports for products in the construction fire safety sector

    The Standards Institution of Israel recognizes the fire safety and acoustics test reports issued by our laboratories.

    In the Israeli market, the import and distribution of construction fire safety sector products are subject to product evaluation with the standards designated by the Standards Institution of Israel (SII). 

    From now on, manufacturers and distributors of products for the construction fire safety industry that wish to enter the Israeli market can count on Applus+ Laboratories as a testing partner to test their products under the following standards:

    • EN 12101-3: Smoke and heat control systems - Part 3: Specification for powered smoke and heat control ventilators (Fans)
    • ISO 21927-3: Smoke and heat control systems - Part 3: Specifications for powered smoke and heat exhaust ventilators
    • EN13381-4: Test methods for determining the contribution to the fire resistance of structural members - Part 4: Applied passive protection to steel members
    • ASTM E 605-93: Standard Test Methods for Thickness and Density of Sprayed Fire-Resistive Material (SFRM) Applied to Structural Members
    • ASTM E 760-92: Standard Test Method for Effect of Impact on Bonding of Sprayed Fire-Resistive Material Applied to Structural Members
    • ASTM E 736-00: Standard Test Method for Cohesion/Adhesion of Sprayed Fire-Resistive Materials Applied to Structural Members
    • ASTM E 759-92: Standard Test Method for Effect of Deflection on Sprayed Fire-Resistive Material Applied to Structural Members
    • ASTM E761-92: Standard Test Method for Compressive Strength of Sprayed Fire-Resistive Material Applied to Structural Members
    • ASTM E 859-93: Standard Test Method for Air Erosion of Sprayed Fire-Resistive Materials (SFRMs) Applied to Structural Members
    • ASTM E 937-93: Standard Test Method for Corrosion of Steel by Sprayed Fire-Resistive Material (SFRM) Applied to Structural Members
