PIRECO Project

03/10/2013
New paint and coating formulas with high anti-adherence properties for automobile's outer parts. Funded by ACC10 with FEDER funds.
The objective of PIRECO Project is the research of new paint and polish formulas and the study of new nano-coating processes with high dirt anti-adherence properties for vehicle's outer parts.
The high consumers demand in quality vehicles conditions, leads the companies to improve his products to improve their competitiveness. In this case, the project will research solutions to avoid the dirt deposition on the outer parts of the vehicles.
The Project is managed by Zanini with the collaboration of LEITAT and Applus+.
Experts of Applus+ are responsible for implementing the protocols for testing both new paints and coatings, and also the painted surfaces for verifying the properties and comparing to the formulas used nowadays. Likewise, Applus+ will implement a validation plan of the new coatings under the customer regulations.
This Project has been funded by ACC10 and co-funded with FEDER funds.
